Wedding in Modesto, CA
My second time in California (the first time being over three years ago) did not disappoint me, although in January it was chillier than I expected. The wedding day was long - starting getting ready at 8am and not leaving the reception until midnight - but I am so grateful for all the footage I was able to acquire and the experience I obtained. It was also the first time I worked with a second shooter. I loved how, between the two of us, we were able to be in two different places at the same time and get all the special moments before and during the ceremony.
As for the weather, it was sunny leading up to the wedding day, and sunny on the following days, but the day of it decided to rain. And right when we were taking the wedding party photos. There weren't many overhangs at the college we went to for the photos, so my creativity was limited, but I managed to do my best under the circumstances, and I am pleased with the results.
If your wedding day calls for rain, no need to worry! I love working with and around the weather, and when a block gets in my way, I see it only as an opportunity to grow in my artistic abilities.
